Bookstores in Holland are charming, too. And the bicycles are so cute. So many of my favourite things combined in one casual sidewalk shot. Does this country have any faults?

Further proof of Holland’s awesomeness. Gorgeous little row houses in Amsterdam, lined up along a canal. I must find a way to go back and visit again sometime soon. Such a beautiful country.

A whole new sport to add to the bucket list: ice yachting in Holland. Hans Brinker and his cronies had me dreaming about long days spent skating on the canals when I was little, but adding in an ice-boat and sails ramps up my desire to experience a Dutch winter even more. Clearly I need to spend more time in cold climates.

Also, how beautiful and surreal is this landscape? It looks as though the skaters are heading towards certain doom. Ah, ice, what tricks you play.
