Inspiration: Hermes Trompe-l’oeil Dresses

Beautiful pictures of trompe-l’oeil dresses by Hermes, from 1952. I love the styling and the models’ attitudes! And, obviously, the dresses themselves. They’re wonderfully breezy and humourous. Might be an interesting project to DIY, though it might be hard to give the lines of the design the same careless panache.

  3. Lovely dresses and pics. Moschino has recently designed a tromp-l’oeil dress, I think these Hermès dresses could have been taken as reference.
